Metal Sheet Fabrication Manufacturing
At CNCTECK, Metal Sheet Fabrication Services offers prototype include CNC laser cutting and CNC stamping, low to high volume production runs, we provide the whole production process from tool and die to production, we are expert in all of process fabrication including punching, bending, forming, welding, CNC machining, finishing and easy assembly. We uses automated machining process to achieve to avoid any fault, such as automated punching machine with bending and forming, the maximum capability size is 80” x 80” with a material thickness range of .02” to .25”mm, with tolerance control to +/- 0.005”. We have ability to complete various material shape such as sheet, plates, bars and tubes, and are experienced in series of range materials type in Galvanized, aluminum alloy, copper, brass, steels etc.
CNC Laser Cutting
CNC precision laser cutting is a very cost-effective method for manufacturing small to medium part orders made from flat sheet metal. CNC technology, which stands for ‘computer numerical control’, uses a laser programmed by a computer to cut materials. CNCTECK customers benefit from the CNC laser cutting process through high precision part production, reduced cost and faster job delivery.
CNC laser cutting is a process where a computer-guided industrial laser cuts sheet material by vaporizing the cut path of the work-piece, achieving the desired shape. In this process, a powerful beam of high-density light is focused through a tiny hole in a nozzle where the laser beam exits to strike the material.
Material for laser cutting parts:
- Aluminum 5052
- Aluminum 6061
- Brass 260
- Copper 101 & 110
- Galvanized
- Stainless steel 304 & 316
- Steel
Typical laser cut parts:
- Plates
- Brackets
- Covers
- Panels
Sheet Metal Stamping
Sheet metal stamping is used to transform flat metal sheets in specific shapes. It’s a process based on permanent deformation by cold forming to produce a variety of complex three-dimensional shapes. Tensile
forces with high ratio of surface area carry out the process to thickness. The stamping of metals is a very common process. This is the reason why many objects in your house are the result of a sheet metal stamping process. In sheet metal stamping, there’re two types of stamping presses: hydraulic and mechanic. Both use
“dies” to manufacture stamped parts. When the mechanical or hydraulic press is activated, the flat sheet metal,
which stands between the die, reaches the desired shape.
CNC Bending
Computer numerically controlled (CNC) bending is a manufacturing process that is carried out by CNC press brakes (also known as CNC brake presses). These machines can bend sheet metal work from just a few mm across to sections many metres long on the largest industrial machines. CNC press brakes either have a fixed bottom bed with the V block tooling clamped in place and a top beam which travels under force with the V blade tools this is known as down forming. The opposite is an up forming machine with the bottom bend moving and the top beam fixed. Both process methods will produce the same sheet metal components and there are no restrictions to the design of your component to suit either machine.
